بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In The Name Of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful
اللّهُمَّ هذَا شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ
O Allah: this is the month of Ramazan
الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ القُرْآنَ
اے معبود!یہ رمضان کا مہینہ ہے
in which You revealed the Qur'an,
هُدَىً لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الهُدَى وَالفُرْقَانِ،
کہ جس میں تو نے قرآن پاک اتارا
a guidance for humankind and clear proofs of true guidance and distinction (between the right and the wrong)
وَهذَا شَهْرُ الصِّيَامِ،
جو لوگوں کے لیے رہنما ہے اس میں ہدایت کی دلیلیں اور حق و باطل کا فرق واضح ہے
This is the month of observing fasting,
وَهذَا شَهْرُ القِيَامِ،
یہ روزے رکھنے کا مہینہ ہے
this is the month of acts of worship,
وَهذَا شَهْرُ الإنَابَةِ،
یہ راتوں کی عبادت کا مہینہ ہے
This the month of turning to You (in penitence),
وَهذَا شَهْرُ التَّوْبَةِ،
اور یہ خداکی طرف واپسی کا مہینہ ہے
This is the month of repentance,
وَهذَا شَهْرُ المَغْفِرَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ،
یہ توبہ قبول ہونے کا مہینہ ہے
This is the month of forgiveness and mercy,
وَهذَا شَهْرُ العِتْقِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَالفَوْزِ بِالجَنَّةِ،
یہ بخشے جانے اور رحمت نازل ہونے کا مہینہ ہے
This is the moth of release from Hellfire and winning Paradise,
وَهذَا شَهْرٌ فِيهِ لَيْلَةُ القَدْرِ
یہ جہنم سے رہائی پانے اور جنت میں جانے کی کامیابی کا مہینہ ہے
This is the month in which there is the Grand Night
الَّتِي هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنَ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ.
اور یہ وہ مہینہ ہے کہ اس میں شب قدر ہے
Which is better than one thousand months.
اللّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
کہ جو ایک ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَأَعِنِّي عَلَى صِيَامِهِ وَقِيَامِهِ،
پس اے معبود! محمد(ص) اور آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And help me observe fasting and do acts of worship during it,
وَسَلِّمْهُ لِي وَسَلِّمْنِي فِيهِ،
اوراس ماہ کے روزے رکھنے اور عبادت میں میری مدد فرما
And keep it upright for me, and keep me safe during it,
وَأَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِ بِأَ فْضَلِ عَوْنِكَ،
اسے میرے لیے پورا کراور مجھے اس میں سلامت رکھ
And help me observe it with the best of Your help
وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِطَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ وَأَوْلِيَائِكَ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ،
اور اس ماہ میں میری بہترین مدد فرما
And make me succeed in doing acts of obedience to You and to Your Prophet and Your intimate servants upon whom be Your blessings,
وَفَرِّغْنِي فِيهِ لِعِبَادَتِكَ وَدُعَائِكَ وَتِلاوَةِ كِتَابِكَ،
اس میں اپنی بندگی نیز اپنے رسول(ص) اور اپنے دوستوں کی پیروی کی توفیق دے، رحمت خدا ہو ان پر
And make me devote myself to acts of worship to You, to praying You, and to reciting Your Book,
وَأَعْظِمْ لِي فِيهِ البَرَكَةَ،
اور اس مہینے میں اپنی عبادت کرنے دعا مانگنے اور تلاوت قرآن کا موقع دے
And increase its blessings for me
وَأَحْسِنْ لِي فِيهِ العَافِيَةَ،
اس ماہ میں مجھے بہت زیادہ برکت دے
And confer upon me with good health during it,
وَأَصِحَّ فِيهِ بَدَنِي،
مجھے بہتر سے بہتر آسائش عطا فرما
And make my body healthy during it,
وَأَوْسِعْ فِيهِ رِزْقِي،
میرے بدن کو سلامت رکھ
And expand my sustenance during it,
وَاكْفِنِي فِيهِ مَا أَهَمَّنِي،
میرے رزق میں وسعت دے
And save me from whatever aggrieves me during it,
وَاسْتَجِبْ فِيهِ دُعَائِي،
اس ماہ میں میری پریشانی میں مددگار بن
And respond to my prayers during it,
وَبَلِّغْنِي فِيهِ رَجَائِي.
میری دعا کو شرف قبولیت عطا فرما
And make me attain my hope during it.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اور میری امید پوری کر
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَذْهِبْ عَنِّي فِيهِ النُّعَاسَ وَالكَسَلَ وَالسَّأْمَةَ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And remove from me during it drowsiness, and lethargy, and laziness,
وَالفَتْرَةَ وَالقَسْوَةَ وَالغَفْلَةَ وَالغِرَّةَ،
اور دور رکھ اس مہینے میں مجھ سے اونگھ، سستی، چڑچڑاہٹ،
And weariness, and hardheartedness, and inattentiveness, and carelessness.
وَجَنِّبْنِي فِيهِ العِلَلَ وَالأَسْقَامَ
سستی، سنگ دلی، بے خبری اور فریب کو
And put aside from me during it illnesses and sicknesses
وَالهُمُومَ وَالأَحْزَانَ
اور مجھے بچائے رکھ اس مہینے میں دردوں، بیماریوں،
And grievances and sorrows
وَالأَعْرَاضَ وَالأَمْرَاضَ
پریشانیوں، غموں
And ailments and diseases
وَالخَطَايَا وَالذُّنُوبَ،
دکھوں، بیماریوں
And wrongdoings and sins.
وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي فِيهِ السُّوءَ وَالفَحْشَاءَ
خطاؤں اور گناہوں سے
And send away from me during it evil and indecency
وَالجَهْدَ وَالبَلاءَ
اور اس مہینے میں مجھ سے دور کردے ہر برائی، بے حیائی،
And fatigue and ordeals
وَالتَّعَبَ وَالعَنَاءَ
رنج، کٹھن،
And tiredness and suffering.
إنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ.
سختی اور بے دلی
Verily, You are the Hearer of prayers.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
بے شک تو دعا کا سننے والا ہے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَأَعِذْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And protect me during it from Satan the cursed
وَهَمْزِهِ وَلَمْزِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ
اور اس ماہ میں پناہ دے مجھے دھتکارے ہوئے شیطان سے،
And from his sting and from his slander and from his devilry
وَوَسْوَسَتِهِ وَتَثْبِيطِهِ وَبَطْشِهِ وَكَيْدِهِ
اس کے اشارے، سرگوشی اس کے منتر، اس کی پھونک،
And from his evil inspirations and from his frustration and from his obstinacy and from his trickeries
وَمَكْرِهِ وَحَبَائِلِهِ وَخُدَعِهِ وَأَمَانِيِّهِ
اس کے برے خیال، رکاوٹ، داؤ، بناوٹ،
And from his deceptions and from his traps and from his scams and from his false hopes,
وَغُرُورِهِ وَفِتْنَتِهِ وَشَرَكِهِ وَأَحْزَابِهِ
اس کے پھندے، دھوکے، آرزو، بلادوے،
And from his vanities, and from his seductions, and from his ruses, and from his allies,
وَأَتْبَاعِهِ وَأَشْيَاعِهِ وَأَوْلِيَائِهِ وَشُرَكَائِهِ
بہکاوے، اس کے جالوں، ٹولیوں،
And from his followers and from his fans and from his supporters and from his partners,
وَجَمِيعِ مَكَائِدِهِ.
پیروکاروں، ساتھیوں، دوستوں، اس کے ہمکاروں
And from all his snares.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اور اس کے دھوکوں سے۔
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَارْزُقْنَا قِيَامَهُ وَصِيَامَهُ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And bestow upon us with the observance of fasting and acts of worship
وَبُلُوغَ الأَمَلِ فِيهِ وَفِي قِيَامِهِ
اور ہمیں اس ماہ میں نماز روزہ نصیب فرما
And attainment of our hopes during it and by means of doing acts of worship in it,
وَاسْتِكْمَالَ مَا يُرْضِيكَ عَنِّي
اور اس میں امید پوری فرما اور اس ماہ میں عبادت کرنے کی
And accomplishment of that which brings about Your pleasure,
صَبْراً وَاحْتِسَاباً وَإيمَاناً وَيَقِيناً،
کمال حد جس میں تو مجھ سے راضی ہو
By means of steadfastness and acting for Your sake and faith and certitude,
ثُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ ذلِكَ مِنِّي بِالأَضْعَافِ الكَثِيرَةِ،
اس میں مجھے برداشت، خوش رفتاری، ایمان اور یقین عطا فرما
And then admit all that from me with manifold rewards,
وَالأَجْرِ العَظِيمِ،
پھر اسے میری طرف سے قبول فرما کئی گنا بڑھا کر
And great gifts,
يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ.
اور اس پر بہت بڑا اجر دے
O the Lord of the worlds.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اے جہانو ں کے پالنے والے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَارْزُقْنِي الحَجَّ وَالعُمْرَةَ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And grant me (the opportunity to undergo) Hajj and `Umrah,
وَالجِدَّ وَالإجْتِهَادَ
اور نصیب فرما مجھے حج و عمرہ،
And hard work and painstaking
وَالقُوَّةَ وَالنَّشَاطَ
کوشش، طاقت،
And power and activity
وَالإنَابَةَ وَالتَّوْبَةَ
جوش،
And turning to You and repentance
وَالتَّوْفِيقَ وَالقُرْبَةَ
بازگشت، توبہ،
And success and seeking Your nearness
وَالخَيْرَ المَقْبُولَ وَالرَّغْبَةَ وَالرَّهْبَةَ
تقرب، پسندیدہ
And admitted good-doing and desire (for You) and fear (from You)
وَالتَّضَرُّعَ وَالخُشُوعَ
نیکی، چاہت، ڈر،
And submission (to You) and meekness
وَالرِّقَّةَ وَالنِّيَّةَ الصَّادِقَةَ،
عاجزی، فروتنی،
And tenderness and sincere intention,
وَصِدْقَ اللِّسَانِ،
نرمی، کھری نیت رکھنے اور
And truthfulness
وَالوَجَلَ مِنْكَ،
سچ بولنے کی توفیق
And dread from You
وَالرَّجَاءَ لَكَ،
اور یوں کر کہ میں تجھ سے ڈروں،
And hoping for You
وَالتَّوَكًُّلَ عَلَيْكَ،
تجھ سے امید رکھوں،
And reliance upon You
وَالثَِّقَةَ بِكَ،
تجھ پر بھروسہ کروں،
And having trust in You
وَالوَرَعَ عَنْ مَحَارِمِكَ
اور تجھے سہارا بناؤں
And abstention from committing that which You have deemed unlawful
مَعَ صَالِحِ القَوْلِ،
اور تیری حرام کردہ چیزوں سے پرہیز کروں
Along with decent speaking,
وَمَقْبُولِ السَّعْيِ،
اس کے ساتھ بات میں نرمی ہو،
And admitted efforts
وَمَرْفُوعِ العَمَلِ،
کوشش قبول ہو،
And elevated deeds
وَمُسْتَجَابِ الدَّعْوَةِ،
کردار بلند ہو
And responded prayers.
وَلا تَحُلْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ شَيْءٍ مِنْ ذلِكَ
اور میری ہر دعا مقبول بارگاہ ہو
And do not let anything to intervene between me and any of these matters,
بِعَرَضٍ وَلا مَرَضٍ
اور میرے اور ان چیزوں کے درمیان کوئی رکاوٹ نہ آنے دے جیسے
Such as an accidental event or disease
وَلا هَمٍّ وَلا غَمٍّ
دکھ، بیماری،
Or grief or unhappiness
وَلا سُقْمٍ وَلا غَفْلَةٍ وَلا نِسْيَانٍ،
پریشانی، رنج،
Or ailment or advertence or oblivion;
بَلْ بِالتَّعَاهُدِ وَالتَّحَفُّظِ لَكَ وَفِيكَ
نقص، بے خبری اور فراموشی و غیرہ
Rather (help me do all that) with observance and carefulness to You and for Your sake
وَالرِّعَايَةِ لِحَقِّكَ وَالوَفَاءِ بِعَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ
بلکہ ان عبادتوں میں تیری طرف سے توفیق و حفاظت ہو تیرے لیے ان پر کاربند رہوں،
And adherence to that which is incumbent upon me toward You and fulfillment of my covenant and promise to You
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
تیرے حق کا لحاظ کروں اور تو اپنا پیمان اور اپنا وعدہ پورا فرمائے
(let all that be) out of Your mercy, O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
الٰہی اپنی رحمت سے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَاقْسِمْ لِي فِيهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا تَقْسِمُهُ لِعِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ،
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And decide for me during this month the best of that which You decide for Your righteous servants,
وَأَعْطِنِي فِيهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا تُعْطِي أَوْلِيَاءَكَ المُقَرَّبِينَ
اور اس ماہ میں تو نے جو حصہ اپنے نیک بندوں کیلئے رکھا ہے مجھے اس میں سے زیادہ عطا کر
And give me during it the most favorable of that which You give to Your intimate, favorite servants;
مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ وَالتَّحَنُّنِ وَالإجَابَةِ
اور اس مہینے میں تو نے اپنے قریبی دوستوں کو جو کچھ عطا کیا ہے اس میں سے مجھے زیادہ حصہ دے
Such as mercy, forgiveness, kindness, responding (of prayers)
وَالعَفْوِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ الدَّائِمَةِ وَالعَافِيَةِ وَالمُعَافَاةِ
یعنی رحمت ،بخشش، محبت، قبولیت،
Pardon, perpetual forgiveness, good health, continuous wellbeing,
وَالعِتْقِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَالفَوْزِ بِالجَنَّةِ
درگزر نیز ہمیشہ کے لیے بخشش، آرام، آسودگی
Release from Hellfire, winning Paradise,
وَخَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ.
اور آگ سے خلاصی جنت میں جانے کی کامیابی
And the goodness of this worldly life and the Next World.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اور دنیا و آخرت کی بھلائی میں سے۔
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَاجْعَلْ دُعَائِي فِيهِ إلَيْكَ وَاصِلاً،
اےمعبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And cause my prayers during this month to reach You,
وَرَحْمَتَكَ وَخَيْرَكَ إلَيَّ فِيهِ نَازِلاً،
اور اس مہینے میں میری دعا کو ایسا بنا کہ تجھ تک پہنچ جائے
And cause Your mercy and goodness during it to reach me,
وَعَمَلِي فِيهِ مَقْبُولاً،
ور تیری رحمت اور بھلائی ا س میں مجھ پر نازل ہو
And cause my deed to be accepted (by You)
وَسَعْيِي فِيهِ مَشْكُوراً،
اور اس ماہ میں میرا عمل تجھے قبول ہو
And cause my efforts during it to be praiseworthy
وَذَنْبِي فِيهِ مَغْفُوراً،
میری کوشش تجھے پسند آئے
And cause my sins during it to be forgiven
حَتَّى يَكُونَ نَصِيبِي فِيهِ الأَكْثَرُ،
اور اس میں تو میرا گناہ بخش دے
So that my share (of Your awards) shall be the most abundant,
وَحَظِّي فِيهِ الأَوْفَرُ.
یہاں تک کہ اس ماہ میں میرا نصیب بڑھ جائے
And my portion to be the most copious.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اور میرا حصہ زیادہ ہوجائے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِلَيْلَةِ القَدْرِ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And guide me to observe the Grand Night adequately,
عَلَى أَفْضَلِ حَالٍ تُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَأَرْضَاهَا لَكَ،
اور اس ماہ میں مجھے شب قدر سے بہرہ ور فرما
Being on the most favorable and most pleased state that You would like to notice from any of Your intimate servants,
ثُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا لِي خَيْراً مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ،
اس بہترین صورت میں جسے تو پسند کرے کہ تیرے دوستوں میں سے ہر ایک اسی حال میں ہو جو تیرے لیے بہت پسندیدہ ہے
And then decide it to be better for me that one thousand months,
وَارْزُقْنِي فِيهَا أَفْضَلَ مَا رَزَقْتَ أَحَداً مِمَّنْ بَلَّغْتَهُ إيَّاهَا وَأَكْرَمْتَهُ بِهَا،
پھر شب قدر کو میرے لیے ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر قرار دے
And confer upon me during this night the best conferrals that You ever confer upon anyone whom You guide to attain it and whom You honor during it,
وَاجْعَلْنِي فِيهَا مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ،
اور اس میں وہ بہترین روزی دے جو تو نے کسی شخص کو دی اور وہ اس تک پہنچائی اور یوں اسکو سرفراز کیا ہے
And include me in it with those whom You release from Hell,
وَطُلَقَائِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ،
مجھے اس میں جہنم سے آزاد کیے گئے لوگوں میں قرار دے
And whom You manumit from Hellfire
وَسُعَدَاءِ خَلْقِكَ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَرِضْوَانِكَ
کہ جو آگ سے خلاصی پاگئے ہیں
And with those of Your creatures who are happy due to Your forgiveness and satisfaction (that reach them),
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
اور تیری بخشش و خوشنودی کے ساتھ تیری مخلوق میں سے خوش بخت ہیں
O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَارْزُقْنَا فِي شَهْرِنَا هذَا الجِدَّ وَالإجْتِهَادَ
اے معبود! محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And grant us during this month with hard working and painstaking
وَالقُوَّةَ وَالنَّشَاطَ
اور ہمیں اس ماہ رمضان میں نصیب کر سعی، کوشش،
And power and activeness
وَمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى.
طاقت ولولہ
And whatever You like and please.
اللّهُمَّ رَبَّ الفَجْرِ وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ وَالشَّفْعِ وَالوَتْرِ،
اور وہ چیز جسے تو چاہے اور پسند کرے
O Allah; the Lord of the Dawn, the Ten Nights, the Even and the Odd;
وَرَبَّ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَمَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ القُرْآنِ،
اے اللہ! اے ایک صبح اور دس راتوں اور شفع و وتر کے رب
And the Lord of the month of Ramazan and the Qur'an that You have revealed during it,
وَرَبَّ جَبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإسْرَافِيلَ وَعِزْرَائِيلَ
اور ماہ رمضان کے مالک اور اس قرآن کے مالک جو تو نے اس ماہ میں نازل کیا
And the Lord of (Archangels) Gabriel, Michael, Israfel, and `Izraeel,
وَجَمِيعِ المَلائِكَةِ المُقَرَّبِينَ،
اور جبرائیل(ع) و میکائیل(ع) و اسرافیل(ع) و عزرائیل(ع)
As well as all the Favorite Angels,
وَرَبَّ إبْرَاهِيمَ وَإسْمعِيلَ
اور تمام مقرب فرشتوں کے رب
And the Lord of (Prophets) Abraham and Ishmaele
وَإسْحقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ،
اور اے حضرت ابراہیم(ع) و اسماعیل(ع)
And Isaac and Jacob,
وَرَبَّ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى
و اسحاق(ع) و یعقوب(ع) کے رب
And the Lord of Moses and Jesus,
وَجَمِيعِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالمُرْسَلِينَ،
اور حضرت موسیٰ(ع) و عیسیٰ (ع)
As well as all the Prophets and the Messengers,
وَرَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
اور سارے نبیوں اور رسولوں کے رب
And the Lord of Muhammad, the seal of the Prophets,
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ،
اور اے نبیوں کے خاتم حضرت محمد(ص) کے رب
May Your blessings be upon him and upon them all,
وَأَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَبِحَقِّهِمْ عَلَيْكَ
ان پر اور سب پہلے نبیوں پر تیری رحمتیں ہوں
And I beseech You in the name of their duty toward You Your duty toward them,
وَبِحَقِّكَ العَظِيمِ لَمَّا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ،
میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیرے حق کے واسطے سے جوان پر ہے، اور انکے حق کے واسطے سے جو تجھ پر ہے
And in the name of the great duty toward You that You may bless him and his Household and all of them,
وَنَظَرْتَ إلَيَّ نَظْرَةً رَحِيمَةً
اور تیرے بزرگ تر حق کے واسطے سے کہ ضرور ان پر اور انکی آل پررحمت کر اور ان سب پر رحمت کر
And that You may take a merciful look at me,
تَرْضَى بِهَا عَنِّي رِضَىً لا سَخَطَ عَلَيَّ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً،
اور مجھ پر ایسی نظر فرما جو مہربانی کی نظر ہو
Due to which You be pleased to me so perfectly that You never be irate with me after that,
وَأَعْطَيْتَنِي جَمِيعَ سُؤْلِي وَرَغْبَتِي وَأُمْنِيَتِي وَإرَادَتِي،
کہ تو مجھ سے ایسا راضی ہوجائے اور اس کے بعد کبھی ناراض نہ ہو
And You may grant me all my requests, desires, hopes, and needs,
وَصَرَفْتَ عَنِّي مَا أَكْرَهُ وَأَحْذَرُ
اور میری تمام مرادیں خواہشیں آرزوئیں اور ارادے پورے فرما
And You may ward off me all that which I despise and try to avoid,
وَأَخَافُ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَمَا لا أَخَافُ
وہ چیزیں مجھ سے دور کردے جن سے میں کراہت رکھتا ہوں اور ڈرتا ہوں
And all that which I fear for myself and all that which I do not fear,
وَعَنْ أَهْلِي وَمَالِي وَإخْوَانِي وَذُرِّيَّتِي.
اور اپنی جان کیلئے خوف کھاتا ہوں اوروہ بھی جن سے خوف نہیں کھاتا
And do the same to my family members, my property, my brethren and my offspring.
اللّهُمّ إلَيْكَ فَرَرْنَا مِنْ ذُنُوبِنَا فَآوِنَا تَائِبِينَ،
اور انہیں میرے رشتہ داروں میرے مال میرے بھائیوں اور اولاد سے بھی دور فرما
O Allah: to You are we running from our sins; so (please do) shelter us as we are repentant,
وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا مُسْتَغْفِرِينَ،
اے معبود! ہم اپنے گناہوں سے تیری طرف بھاگے ہیں ہمیں توبہ کرنیوالوں کی سی پناہ دے
And accept our repentance as we are seeking Your forgiveness,
وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا مُتَعَوّذِينَ،
اور توجہ کر کہ ہم بخشش کے طالب ہیں
And forgive us as we are seeking Your protection,
وَأَعِذْنَا مُسْتَجِيرِينَ،
ہمیں بخش دے پناہ دیتے ہوئے
And protect us as we are seeking Your aid,
وَأَجِرْنَا مُسْتَسْلِمِينَ،
پناہ دے کہ طالب پناہ ہیں
And aid us as we are surrendering to You,
وَلا تَخْذُلْنَا رَاهِبِينَ،
ہمیں پناہ میں لے کہ سرنگوں ہیں
And never disappoint us as we are fearful of You,
وَآمِنَّا رَاغِبِينَ،
ہمیں رسوا نہ کر کہ ڈرنے والے ہیں
And secure us as we are desiring for You,
وَشَفّعْنَا سَائِلِينَ،
ہم خواہاں ہیں امان کے
And accept our intercession as we are begging You,
وَأَعْطِنَا إنّكَ سَمِيعُ الدّعَاءِ قرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ.
ہم سائل ہیں شفاعت قبول فرما
And grant us (what we hope) as You are verily the Hearer of prayers, the Nigh, and the Responding.
اللّهُمّ أَنْتَ رَبّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ
اور حاجت پوری کر بے شک تو دعا سننے والا ہے، قریب تر قبول کرنے والا ہے
O Allah: You are my Lord and I am Your servant,
وَأَحَقّ مَنْ سَأَلَ العَبْدُ رَبّهُ
اے معبود! تو میرا پروردگار اور میں تیرا بندہ ہوں
And it is conventional that a servant begs from his Lord,
وَلَمْ يَسْأَلِ العِبَادُ مِثْلَكَ كَرَماً وَجُوداً،
اور بندے کو زیادہ حق ہے کہ اپنے پروردگار سے سوال کرے
And all Your servants have never begged anyone who is as generous and magnanimous as You are.
يَا مَوْضِعَ شَكْوَى السَّائِلِينَ،
اور بندوں سے تیرے جیسے کرم و بخشش کا سوال نہیں کیا جاسکتا
O the center of the complaints of the beseechers;
وَيَا مُنْتَهَى حَاجَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ،
اے سائلوں کے لیے مرکز شکایت
O the ultimate goal of the needs of the desirers,
وَيَا غِيَاثَ المُسْتَغِيثِينَ،
اور اے محتاجوں کی حاجت برآری کی آخری امیدگاہ
O the Aide of the seekers of aid,
وَيَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ المُضْطَرّينَ،
اے فریاد کرنے والوں کے فریادرس
O the Responding to the prayers of the distressed ones,
وَيَا مَلْجَأَ الهَارِبِينَ،
اے بے چاروں کی دعائیں قبول کرنے والے
O the Shelter of the fugitives,
وَيَا صَرِيخَ المُسْتَصْرِخِينَ،
اے بھاگنے والوں کی جائے پناہ
O the Helper of the seekers of help,
وَيَا رَبّ المُسْتَضْعَفِينَ،
اے چیخ و پکار کرنے والوں کے مددگار
O the Lord of the enfeebled ones,
وَيَا كَاشِفَ كَرْبِ المَكْرُوبِينَ،
اور اے زیردستوں کے پروردگار
O the Reliever of the grievances of the aggrieved ones,
وَيَا فَارِجَ هَمّ المَهْمُومِينَ،
اے دکھی لوگوں کے دکھ دور کرنے والے
O the Releaser of the agonies of the sad ones,
وَيَا كَاشِفَ الكَرْبِ العَظِيمِ،
اے پریشانوں کی پریشانی ہٹانے والے
O the Reliever of the enormous calamities;
يَا اللّهُ يَا رَحْمنُ يَا رَحِيمُ
اور اے بڑی مصیبت کے دور کرنے والے
O Allah; O the All-beneficent; O the All-merciful;
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
یا اللہ اے رحم کرنے والے
O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy:
صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
اے مہربان اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
(please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَعُيُوبِي
محمد(ص) وآل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And forgive my sins and my defects,
وَإسَاءَتِي وَظُلْمِي وَجُرْمِي
اور بخش دے میرے گناہ، میرے عیب،
And my offenses and my wrongdoing and my felonies
وَإسْرَافِي عَلَى نَفْسِي،
میری برائیاں، میری ناانصافی، میرا جرم
And my extravagance in my affairs,
وَارْزُقْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
اور اپنے نفس پر میری زیادتی
And (please) grant me out of Your favors and mercy,
فَإنّهُ لا يَمْلِكُهَا غَيْرُكَ،
اور مجھ پر اپنا فضل و کرم اور رحمت فرما
For none possess these save You,
وَاعْفُ عَنّي،
کیونکہ تیرے سوا کسی کو یہ اختیار نہیں
And (please) pardon me
وَاغْفِرْ لِي كُلّ مَا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي،
اور مجھے معاف فرما
And forgive all my past sins
وَاعْصِمْنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِي،
اور میرے گزشتہ گناہ معاف کردے
And save me from sinning in the rest of my lifetime,
وَاسْتُرْ عَلَيّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيّ
اور بقایا زندگی میں مجھے گناہ سے بچائے رکھ
And cover me as well as my parents,
وَوَلَدِي وَقَرَابَتِي وَأَهْلِ حُزَانَتِي
اور پردہ پوشی فرما میری، میرے والدین کی،
And my children and my relatives and my friends,
وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنّي بِسَبِيلٍ مِنَ المُؤْمِنِينَ وَالمُؤْمِنَاتِ فِي الدّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ،
میری اولاد اور عزیزوں کی، میرے ملنے والوں کی،
And all those who relate to me from the believing men and women in this worldly life and the life to come,
فَإنّ ذلِكَ كُلّهُ بِيَدِكَ
اور ان سب مومنین و مومنات کی جو میرے ہمقدم ہیں، دنیا اور آخرت میں پردہ پوشی فرما
For all that is managed by You alone
وَأَنْتَ وَاسِعُ المَغْفِرَةِ
کیونکہ یہ بات کلی طور پر تیرے اختیار میں ہے
And You are verily the Liberal in forgiving,
فَلا تُخَيّبْنِي يَا سَيّدِي،
اور تو بخش دینے میں وسعت والا ہے
So, please my Master: do not disappoint me,
وَلا تَرُدّ دُعَائِي وَلا يَدِي إلَى نَحْرِي
پس ناامید نہ کر میرے آقا!
And do not reject my prayer and do not let me down,
حَتَّى تَفْعَلَ ذلِكَ بِي وَتَسْتَجِيبَ لِي جَمِيعَ مَا سَأَلْتُكَ
میری دعا رد نہ کر اور میرا ہاتھ میرے سینے کی طرف نہ پلٹا
But please do all that to me and respond to my in all that which I have asked from You,
وَتَزِيدَنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ،
یہاں تک کہ مجھے وہ سب کچھ دے اور میری سب حاجتیں پوری کردے جو میں نے طلب کیں
And increase Your favoring upon me,
فَإنّكَ عَلَى كُلّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ،
اور اپنے فضل سے مجھے کچھ زیادہ بھی دے
Because You verily have power over all things,
وَنَحْنُ إلَيْكَ رَاغِبُونَ.
کہ بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے
And for You do we desire.
اللّهُمّ لَكَ الأَسْمَاءُ الحُسْنَى،
اور ہم تیری ہی طرف رغبت کرتے ہیں
O Allah: Yours are the Most Excellent Names
وَالأَمْثَالُ العُلْيَا،
اے معبود! تیرے لیے اچھے اچھے نام ہیں
And the Most Elevated Examples,
وَالكِبْرِيَاءُ وَالآلاءُ،
اور بلندترین شانیں ہیں
And every greatness and all bounties.
أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ:
بڑائیاں اور نعمتیں ہیں
I thus beseech You by Your Name:
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيمِ
میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے بواسطہ تیرے نام
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful;
إنْ كُنْتَ قَضَيْتَ فِي هذِهِ اللّيْلَةِ
﴿اللہ، رحمن، رحیم﴾ کے
If you have decided at this night,
تَنَزّلَ المَلائِكَةِ وَالرّوحِ فِيهَا
اگر تو نے فیصلہ کر رکھا ہے اس رات میں
During which the angels and the Holy Spirit are allowed to descend,
أَنْ تُصَلّيَ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ،
ملائکہ اور روح کو زمین پر اتارنے کا
That You may bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ اسْمِي فِي السّعَدَاءِ،
تو محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And You may add my name to the (list of the) happy ones,
وَرُوحِي مَعَ الشّهَدَاءِ،
اور یہ کہ قرار دے میرا نام نیک بختوں میں،
And add my soul to the martyrs,
وَإحْسَانِي فِي عِلّيّينَ،
میری روح کو شہیدوں کے ساتھ،
And elevate my good doings exaltedly
وَإسَاءَتِي مَغْفُورَةً،
میری نیکی کو درجہ علیین میں،
And decide my ill deeds to be forgiven,
وَأَنْ تَهَبَ لِي يَقِيناً تُبَاشِرُ بِهِ قَلْبِي،
میرے گناہوں کو بخشے ہوئے
And that You grant me conviction with which You fill in my heart,
وَإيمَاناً لا يَشُوبُهُ شَكّ،
اور یہ کہ مجھے وہ یقین دے جو میرے دل میں جما رہے
And grant me faith free of doubt,
وَرِضَىً بِمَا قَسَمْتَ لِي،
وہ ایمان عطا کر جسے شک کا خطرہ نہ ہو
And grant me satisfaction with that which You decide for me,
وَآتِنِي فِي الدّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً
جو کچھ تو نے دیا اس پر راضی رکھ
And grant me good in this worldly life and good in the Next World
وَقِنِي عَذَابَ النَّارِ،
مجھے اس دنیا میں نیکی اور آخرت میں خوشی نصیب فرما
And save me from the Fire of Hell.
وَإنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ قَضَيْتَ فِي هذِهِ اللّيْلَةِ
اور مجھے آگ کے عذاب سے بچائے رکھ
And if You have not decided at this night,
تَنَزّلَ المَلائِكَةِ وَالرّوْحِ فِيهَا
اور اگر تو نے آج کی رات فیصلہ نہیں کیا
During which the angels and the Holy Spirit are allowed to descend,
فَأَخّرْنِي إلَى ذلِكَ،
اس میں ملائکہ اور روح کو نازل کرنے کا
Then (please) postpone Your decisions about me to that night,
وَارْزُقْنِي فِيهَا ذِكْرَكَ وَشُكْرَكَ
تو پھر مجھ کو ایسی رات تک مہلت دے
And confer upon me during it with reference to You and showing gratitude to You,
وَطَاعَتَكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ،
اور اس میں مجھے توفیق دے اپنے ذکر، شکر،
And doing acts of obedience to You and worshipping You in the best manner;
وَصَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
فرمانبرداری اور بہترین عبادت کی
And (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ،
اور محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
With Your most favorable blessings, O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ
اپنی بہترین رحمتوں سے، اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
O the Unique, O the Besought of all;
يَا رَبّ مُحَمّدٍ
اے یگانہ اے بے نیاز
O the Lord of Muhammad
اغْضَبِ اليَوْمَ لِمُحَمّدٍ وَلأَبْرَارِ عِتْرَتِهِ،
اے ربِ محمد(ص)!
(please) revenge on this day for Muhammad and for the pious ones from his offspring,
وَاقْتُلْ أَعْدَاءَهُمْ بَدَداً،
آج غضبناک ہو محمد(ص) اور ان کے خاندان کے نیکوکارں کی خاطر
And eradicate all of their enemies,
وَأَحْصِهِمْ عَدَداً،
اور ان کے دشمنوں کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کردے
And put them all under Your reprimand
وَلا تَدَعْ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الأَرْضِ مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً،
انہیں ایک ایک کرکے چن لے
And do not leave anyone of them to live on this earth,
وَلا تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَبَداً،
اور ان میں سے کسی کو روئے زمین پر زندہ نہ چھوڑ
And never forgive them.
يَا حَسَنَ الصّحْبَةِ،
انہیں کبھی بھی معاف نہ فرما
O the most excellent Companion;
يَا خَلِيفَةَ النّبِيّينَ
اے بہترین رفیق
O the Heir of the Prophets
أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ،
اے نبیوں کے بعدباقی رہنے والے
You are verily the most Merciful of all those who show mercy,
البَدِيءُ البَدِيعُ
تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے
The Commencer, the brilliant Maker,
الّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِكَ شَيْءٌ،
ایسا آغاز کرنیوالا ہے پیدا کرنیوالا ہے
There is none like You
وَالدَّائِمُ غَيْرُ الغَافِلِ،
کہ کوئی بھی چیز تیرے جیسی نہیں ہے
And You are the Eternal Who never omits anything,
وَالحَيّ الّذِي لا يَمُوتُ،
اے ہمیشہ کے بیدار جو غافل نہیں ہوتا
And You are the Ever-living Who never dies,
أَنْتَ كُلّ يَوْمٍ فِي شَأْنٍ،
اور وہ زندہ جسے موت نہیں آتی
On each day, You have a certain state;
أَنْتَ خَلِيفَةُ مُحَمّدٍ،
تو وہ ہے جو ہر روز نرالی شان رکھتا ہے
You are the Heir of Muhammad,
وَنَاصِرُ مُحمّدٍ،
تو ہی ہے حضرت محمد(ص) کا پشت پناہ،
And the Supporter of Muhammad,
وَمُفَضّلُ مُحَمّدٍ،
ان کا مددگار
And the Selector of Muhammad
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَنْصُرَ وَصِيّ مُحَمّدٍ وَخَلِيفَةَ مُحَمّدٍ
اور ان کو فضیلت دینے والا
I beseech You to give victory to the successor and representative of Muhammad,
وَالقَائِمَ بِالقِسْطِ مِنْ أَوْصِيَاءِ مُحَمّدٍ
میں سوالی ہوں تیرا کہ مدد فرما حضرت محمد(ص) کے وصی، ان کے جانشین
The Imam who shall appear with justice among the successors of Muhammad,
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ،
اور ان کے جانشینوں میں سے عدل و انصاف قائم کرنے والے کی
May Your blessings be upon him and upon them,
اعْطِفْ عَلَيْهِمْ نَصْرَكَ،
اس پر اور ان سب پر تیری رحمتیں ہوں
(please) turn Your victory toward them,
يَا لا إلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ
ان سبھوں کی مدد و نصرت فرما
O He but Whom there is no god
بِحَقّ لا إلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ
اے وہ کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں
I beseech You in the name of that there is no god but You,
صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
تیرے واسطے سے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں
(please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَاجْعَلْنِي مَعَهُمْ فِي الدّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ،
محمد(ص) و آل(ع) محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And allow me to join them in this worldly life as well as the Next World
وَاجْعَلْ عَاقِبَةَ أَمْرِي إلَى غُفْرَانِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
اور مجھے دنیا اور آخرت میں انہی کے ساتھ قرار دے
And allow all my affairs to end up with Your forgiveness and mercy,
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ،
اور میری زندگی کو اپنی بخشش و رحمت کے شمول پر ختم فرما
O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
وَكَذلِكَ نَسَبْتَ نَفْسَكَ يَا سَيّدِي بِاللّطْفِ،
اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے
O my Master: You have ascribed the feature of kindness to Yourself,
بَلَى إنّكَ لَطِيفٌ
اور میرے مالک جیسا کہ تو نے اپنے آپ کو لطیف و مہربان کے نام سے موسوم کیا ہے
And You are truly kind,
فَصَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
ہاں بے شک تو مہربان ہے
So, (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَالطُفْ بِي لِمَا تَشَاءُ.
پس محمد(ص) و آل محمد(ص)پر رحمت نازل فرما
And treat me kindly as You like,
اللّهُمّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
اور جس پر چاہے لطف و کرم کر
O Allah: (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَارْزُقْنِي الحَجّ وَالعُمْرَةَ فِي عَامِنَا هذَا،
اے معبود! محمد(ص) وآل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And grant me (the opportunity to undertake) Hajj and `Umrah in this year,
وَتَطَوّلْ عَلَيّ بِجَمِيعِ حَوَائِجِي لِلآخِرَةِ وَالدّنْيَا.
اور نصیب فرمامجھے حج اور عمرہ کی ادائیگی اسی رواں سال میں
And confer upon me with the favor of settling all my needs for the Next World and this worldly life
اور مجھ پر عنایت کرتے ہوئے میری دنیا و آخرت کی تمام حاجتیں پوری فرما
You may then repeat the following statements three times:
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ رَبّي وَ أَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him,
إنّ رَبّي قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ،
بخشش چاہتا ہوں خدا سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اس کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں
Surely, my Lord is Nigh and Responding.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ رَبّي وَأَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ
بیشک میرا رب نزدیک اور دعا قبول کرنیوالا ہے
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him,
إنّ رَبّي رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ،
بخشش چاہتا ہوں خدا سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اس کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں
Surely, my Lord is Merciful, Loving.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ رَبّي وَأَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ
بے شک میرا رب مہربان محبت والا ہے
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him,
إنّهُ كَانَ غَفَّاراً.
بخشش چاہتا ہوں خدا سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اس کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں
He is surely All-forgiving.
اللّهُمّ اغْفِرْ لِي
کیونکہ وہ بہت بخشنے والا ہے
O Allah: (please do) forgive me,
إنّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ،
اے معبود! مجھے بخش دے
You are verily the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
رَبّ إنّي عَمِلْتُ سُوءاً وَظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي
بے شک تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے
O my Lord: I have committed ill deeds and wronged myself,
فَاغْفِرْ لِي إنّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذّنُوبَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ،
میرے رب میں نے برا عمل کیا اور اپنی جان پرظلم کیا
So (please) forgive me, because none can forgive sins save You.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ الّذِي لا إلهَ إلاَّ هُوَ
پس مجھے بخش دے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی گناہوں کا معاف کرنے والا نہیں
I seek the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god,
الحَيّ القَيّومُ الحَلِيمُ العَظِيمُ
بخشش چاہتاہوں اللہ سے جسکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں
The Ever-living, the Self-Subsistent, the Indulgent, the All-great,
الكَرِيمُ الغَفَّارُ لِلذّنْبِ العَظِيمِ
وہی زندہ، پائندہ، بردبار، بڑائی والا،
The Noble, the forgiver of fatal sins,
وَأَتُوبُ إلَيْهِ،
مہربان، بڑے سے بڑے گناہ کو بخش دینے والا ہے
And I repent before Him.
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّهَ
میں اسکے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں
I seek the forgiveness of Allah,
إنّ اللّهَ كَانَ غَفُوراً رَحِيماً.
اللہ سے بخشش چاہتا ہوں
Allah is verily Forgiver, Merciful.
بے شک اللہ ہے بخش دینے والا مہربان ہے
-
** You may then keep on, saying: **
اللّهُمّ إنّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلّيَ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
O Allah: I beseech You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيمَا تَقْضِي وَتُقَدّرُ
اے اللہ!میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ محمد(ص) وآل محمد(ص) پر رحمت نازل فرما
And to decide within the decisions that You make,
مِنَ الأَمْرِ العَظِيمِ المَحْتُومِ فِي لَيْلَةِ القَدْرِ
اور یہ کہ جب تو حکم لگائے بست و کشاد کا
From the great, inevitable affair at the Grand Night,
مِنَ القَضَاءِ الّذِي لا يُرَدّ وَلا يُبَدّلُ
شب قدر میں، جن بڑے اور یقینی امور کے بارے میں
Within the decision that is neither rejected nor altered,
أَنْ تَكْتُبَنِي مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الحَرَامِ
جو تیرے ایسے فیصلے ہوں جن میں کسی طرح کا التوا اور تبدیلی واقع نہیں ہوتی
That You write my name with the pilgrims of Your Holy House,
المَبْرُورِ حَجّهُمُ،
ان کے ضمن میں مجھے اپنے بیت الحرام کعبہ کے ان حاجیوں میں لکھ دے
Whose Hajj is admitted,
المَشْكُورِ سَعْيُهُمُ،
جن کا حج قبول،
Whose efforts are praiseworthy,
المَغْفُورِ ذُنُوبُهُمُ،
جن کی سعی پسندیدہ،
Whose sins are forgiven,
المُكَفّرِ عَنْهُمْ سَيّئَاتُهُمْ،
جن کے گناہ معاف شدہ
And whose offenses are pardoned.
وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيمَا تَقْضِي وَتُقَدّرُ أَنْ تُطِيلَ عُمْرِي،
اور جن کی خطائیں ان سے دور کردی گئی ہوں
And that You may decide among the decisions that You make that You grant me long lifetime,
وَتُوَسّعَ رِزْقِي،
اور یہ کہ جن باتوں میں تو بست و کشاد کرے ان میں میری عمر کو طولانی
And expand my sustenance,
وَتُؤَدّيَ عَنّي أَمَانَتِي وَدَيْنِي،
اور میرے رزق میں فراوانی فرما
And help me fulfill my trusts and settle my debts,
آمِينَ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ.
اور میری طرف سے امانتیں اور قرضے ادا کردے
Respond to me; O the Lord of the worlds.
اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِيَ فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً،
ایسا ہی ہو اے جہانوں کے پالنے والے
O Allah: (please do) make for me relief and an outlet,
وَارْزُقْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَسِبُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لا أَحْتَسِبُ،
اے اللہ! میرے معاملوں میں کشادگی اور سہولت قرار دے
And provide for me from whence I expect and from whence I do not expect,
وَاحْرُسْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَرِسُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لا أَحْتَرِسُ،
اور مجھے رزق دے جہاں سے مجھے توقع ہے اور جہاں سے مجھے اس کے ملنے کی توقع نہیں ہے
And guard me from when I take precautions and from whence I do not take precautions,
وَصَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ وَسَلّمْ كَثِيراً.
اور میری حفاظت کر جہاں میں اپنی حفاظت کرسکوں اور جہاں اپنی حفاظت نہ کرسکوں
And send plentiful blessings and benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
